The PTSDDB catalogs a collection of clinically-derived data and connects it with the Knowledge Assemblies representing the mechanistic insight known to be present on this indication. The data collected and presented here has been manually curated from the extraction of metadata from hundred clinical studies selected on the field. The set of cohorts contains multi-modal metadata such as measured biomarkers, statistics of the cohort, analysis performed or findings among many others. Covering all of these multi-modal clinical data under one resource makes it easier to analyze and explore how the observed variables might be connected. Moreover, PTSD Database provides an user friendly-interface powered by data visualization enabling clinicians and researchers to interact with the data. The PTSD Biomarker Database was developed as result of a collaboration effort by Fraunhofer Institute for Algorithms and Scientific Computing (SCAI), Cohen Veterans Bioscience and Exaptive Inc. Besides, during the course of this project, Exaptive has developed PTSD Knowledge Map, a tool to explore the Knowledge Assemblies generated by Fraunhofer SCAI (see video below).
More information about the project can be found here.
PTSD Biomarker Database is developed and maintained by Daniel Domingo-Fernández with the help from Josep Marin Llaó. The data resources used for the development of the web server was extracted and curated by the team lead by Alpha Tom Kodamullil at Fraunhofer SCAI. On Cohen Veterans Bioscience's side, the project is led by Allison Provost and Kristophe Diaz.
